After deciding to leave my position as an overworked, underpaid, and undervalued nurse assistant… I made a promise.
I would not be a typical slimy estate agent!
I am a Property Consultant that puts people first instead of seeing only a transaction. You are my main priority because when you succeed I succeed. We will tackle this as a team and I will keep you in the loop every step of this journey.
Back in 2007, I started my working life when I took a post with the NHS as a psychiatric nurse assistant. At the time, I couldn’t see myself doing anything else.
I loved the job and the team I worked with!
Getting to make a positive impact on other people’s lives was extremely rewarding. There were tough parts but I loved the challenge.
So what changed?
A pandemic struck the world and slowly but surely the job I loved started to change. More patients were coming in than normal, staff shortages were increasing and the actual workload was increasing too.
I was left feeling undervalued, plus I hated the fact that the company was dictating my work hours, workload and setting my wage too.
I wanted to be my own boss.
I took to Google and searched for, “how to make money online.” Let’s face it that would give me more freedom. As long as I had my laptop I could work.
The results were incredible, most full of scams but it set me on a path to learn digital marketing. The crowd I got in for were all about building a business around content marketing and this led to another 5 years working in a marketing agency.
On my journey I have learned a whole host of skills like Copywriting, Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media Marketing. During this time I was able to get my work featured on Content Marketing Institute and Problogger.
One thing I am super passionate about is photography. This led me to work with Airbnb as a photographer. I loved this, I got to visit fancy homes and take photos…
And get paid!

Working with clients on Airbnb did give me the opportunity to meet some interesting people. Instagram was the perfect place to showcase my work and speak with potential clients. One person I followed was Fraser, a Keller Williams estate agent.
Following Fraser’s journey and exploring Keller Williams sparked something inside me.
When you find joy scrolling on Rightmove for hours and have experience with marketing and photographing property… being an estate agent became very appealing. I knew from the start I didn’t want a traditional estate agent job.
I wanted to be my own boss.
This is why I partnered with Keller Williams, I have their global network of agents and their trusted brand but it’s my business!
