Welcome to my kitchen — where baking is the main event, and everything else (breakfasts, savoury bits, proper meals, and the occasional experiment) shows up when it feels right.
This site is first and foremost about baking. Cookies, blondies, traybakes, and sweet things that are simple to make and even easier to eat. Recipes that don’t require perfection, just a bit of time and a bit of appetite.
But I don’t really live in a “desserts only” world, so you’ll also find the odd breakfast idea, savoury snack, or everyday meal that I actually make at home. Nothing complicated — just good food that works.
Outside the kitchen, I’m usually out on the hills in Scotland with a camera, or somewhere between planning the next bake and wondering why I thought a boggy descent was a good idea. I like contrast — slow, cosy baking days and big outdoor walks that reset everything.
I also have an interest in astrology. Not in a strict or serious way, more as a lens for reflection — personality, timing, patterns, that kind of thing. It sits quietly in the background, like everything else that isn’t food.
But food always comes back to the centre.
